The 14-year-old Jazz prodigy – Angelina Jordan is considered the embodiment of Amy Winehouse.

Emerging through the ‘Norway’s Got Talent 2014’ competition with the haunting song ‘Gloomy Sunday’, child singer Angelina Jordan quickly became the “hot” name searched by millions of users on Youtube. People keep looking for her performance videos such as: Frank Sinatra’s ‘Fly Me To The Moon‘, Nancy Sinatra’s ‘Bang Bang‘ or ‘White Christmas‘ which bring them so much surprise and excitement.

At that time many audience members who heard Angelina sing almost burst into tears because of the emotions that an 8-year-old girl put on adult songs. That was the reason why the judges, without hesitation let her go straight to the next round of the ‘Norway’s Got Talent’ competition.

Angelina Jordan’s barbaric voice, older than her age, filled with emotions reminds of two jazz legends Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse. One user on YouTube said: ‘She reminds me of Amy Winehouse so much it’s painful.’ Some compared her to jazz greats including Billie Holliday, while one user joked: ‘She did this without half her teeth,

Angelina always appears on the stage with a very special image: a white dress, big flowers on her head, and barefoot. When being asked why she did not wear shoes on stage, Angelina told a very touching story. While traveling in Asia with her family, she met a vacuum peddler. After talking to her, Angelina gave the girl her shoes. The street vendor says she wishes to become a doctor one day, and she would pray for Angelina every day to make all her dreams come true.
